No surprise to all, things have been super quiet on this front. And that’s for a few reasons.
I psych myself out. Writing is such a seemingly permanent exercise.
The success of the Brand is Social, Social is Brand post scared me a little. It went further, faster than I imagined. Heads of social at every major brand shared it. It feels good to be heard.
I am… aware of the noise I contribute to, and I’m not sure people need my voice alone. I am subscribed to an ungodly number of newsletters.
I’m just busy…
In the last few months, I’ve really explored sharing my voice and owning my thoughts - if you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen me play with reels. But I’ve also found the value in building community, learning from others, and expanding my horizons. This feels like the best way to share communal knowledge.
So…I’m pleased to announce that this newsletter is moving to a podcast, found…everywhere you can find podcasts. The first episode is all about my semi-winding career journey and path to entrepreneurship.
Thinking Out Loud is a podcast dedicated to being publicly curious about creativity, commerce, and culture. With our guests - founders, investors, entrepreneurs, creatives, and advisors, we explore the many dimensions of modern brand-building and how cultural codes evolve to build new models for commerce.
Hosted by Nikita Walia, a brand builder, strategist, investor, and advisor (and founder of the consultancy BLANK) with a decade of experience working with brands large and small, this podcast invites you to think deeply, freely, and openly about brands and what they mean in our cultural landscape.
Bear with me while I learn the ins and outs of this format! A challenge for me. And up next, our first interview.
Tell me - what are you curious about?
xx

PS: I’ll keep this Substack alive to send episode updates, the latest from BLANK, and a reading list every so often.
