Such a good, fun read! Really got a sense for Christina and what matters most to her. Would love to hear more about future interviewee's process and thinking. How do they get from X to Y. Looking forward to reading more in this series and seeing how it evolves!

it's so cool to keep following christina since our time working together. I witnessed firsthand her experience at fashion week and i can testify, she killed it! she's a social & cultural vulture!

Wanted more deeper questions here like where besides the internet are you getting inspiration ? what brands are gonna be big this year ? What’s the new Graza ? Also good for white women being able to get jobs with no experience , I only wish.

I purposefully stayed away from a few of those questions because I wanted this series to focus less on trendspotting and more on process—how people think, structure their time, and actually do the work. There’s plenty out there about what’s next; I wanted to get into the how.

Totally hear you on the last point. It’s something I think about constantly when choosing who to feature. This is just the first piece—I’ve got a range of voices coming up, across background, experience level, and perspective. Definitely open to suggestions if there’s someone you think deserves a spotlight.

I would love to hear from people at Saint Heron, The Working Assembly, Droga5 (Mariah Greene works there) a vibe called tech. I think any of those would be a cool start.

Helpful, I know Maryah via IG. I do want to clarify one thing here. I featured Christina because she’s incredibly sharp, thoughtful, and deserving. The white-woman-without-experience trope is real, but that’s not what’s happening here. I hear the bigger point though, and I agree that we have to stay aware of how patterns of access and privilege show up. Appreciate you raising it, but I want to keep this a kind space, and the people featured can read these comments.

My overall takeaway from the article was how appreciative she was for the people who took a risk on her not having any experience .
